Saturday: closed Loerenskog library is an important meeting place for the local community. The library demonstrates its business through many different events for children and adults, and has been a venue for cultural knowledge and experiences.
The library participates actively in the Cultural Rucksack and The Cultural Walking. The Cultural Rucksack has children librarians specializing in conveying original book illustrations as well as the picture book.
Adult department created in 2008, with financial support from the Fritt Ord, concept A reflective room. Based on the nonfiction library organizes dialogue between key social actors and writing on relevant topics. The library hopes to continue the concept.
